The week the music chart shrank. Last week, 17 of 50 entries were music artists — the most of any category. This week, six. No methodology change between the two; v5.1.3's coverage-correction recalibration (April 21) finally getting a clean second week to play out, plus the new 285M peak raising the bar everyone has to clear. Six is closer to where music belonged all along. Meanwhile: NBA Round 1 holds the #1 spot (64.0), NFL Draft debuts at #2 (57.9), and the Michael Jackson biopic Michael opens at $97M for the biggest musical-biopic debut on record (#3, 37.1).
