Two big things this week. (1) New 52-week peak: 285M — NBA Playoffs opening weekend resets the benchmark from 191.2M (Artemis II, April 5). All MindShare scores recalibrate. (2) v5.2 launch — Netflix scoring moved from global-TSV-hours with a content-type US-share multiplier to Netflix's US Top 10 page with a rank-based attention-hours curve. Scored in US weekly attention-hours against the same 52-week benchmark (285M, NBA Playoffs opening weekend) — so a score above 100 means the platform outranked the biggest content moment of the year.

ChatGPT trending slightly down this month despite strong absolute WAU growth (market share falling below 50% on mobile per March 2026 BestBrokers data, 6.5% monthly traffic dip Jan→Feb). Claude up ~20% MoM (paid subscriptions more than doubled in 2026, Claude Code WAU doubled since January 1 per Anthropic). Socials mature and roughly flat.

MindShare v5.2 · US Attention-Hours goes beyond raw view counts. Inspired by McKinsey's attention research and aligned with Nielsen's Gauge methodology, we weight content by attention-hours — estimated real time spent actively engaged.

Depth Multiplier rewards longer engagement. A 40M-stream podcast outscores a 300M-view TikTok because a consumed hour represents deeper cultural penetration than a scrolled-past clip.

Velocity Bonus measures rate-of-growth, not just absolute numbers. A video gaining 5M views/day from 0 scores higher than one holding steady at 50M.

Cross-Platform Amplification tracks when content on one platform drives measurable engagement on another — e.g., a Netflix finale boosting an artist's Spotify streams 4,000%.
